World Bee Day

World Bee Day is a six-slide Instagram carousel designed to bring awareness to the importance of bees and some of the threats they face, including habitat loss and climate change. The main challenge was taking environmental information and data and turning it into something that could be quickly understood by people scrolling through social media. 

I used simple illustrations, data visualization, and visual metaphors to make the information feel more approachable and engaging. For example, imagery like a bitten apple and a wilting flower helped show how the decline of bees can affect both our food and the environment without relying on large amounts of text. I kept the illustrations and visual style consistent across each slide so the information could build from one post to the next while still feeling like one connected story.
